Fife High School welcomes new members to the admin team

Principal, Brandon Bakke, Asst Principal, Paige Carroll, and Asst Principal, Doug Gonzales

This past summer, Brandon Bakke, principal, and Doug Gonzales, assistant principal and Fife alum (FHS '96), joined assistant principal Paige Carroll on the Fife High admin team.


Brandon Bakke has been a high school administrator for 17 years, with previous stops at Sumner, Foss, and Mount Tahoma High Schools. He started his educational career at Clovis High School in Clovis, CA where he taught social studies and was the Head Boys' Basketball Coach. Brandon graduated with a BA in history from Fresno State University, and earned his MA in Educational Leadership from City University. Brandon is married to Sherrie, a teacher in Puyallup, and has two children - Emma, who attends Baylor University, and Britton who attends Eastern Washington University. 


Doug Gonzales has been in high school administration for 5 years as the Assistant Director of Technology for the Auburn School District. He started his educational career in the Auburn School District teaching high school psychology, US history, and global issues. Doug graduated from Fife High School in 1996 and earned his BS in social sciences from Lewis-Clark State University in 2004. He is married with two children who attend Fife Schools.


Paige Carroll has been an administrator for 2 years and began in the White River School District. She was hired as an assistant principal for Fife High School in July of 2017. Prior to administration, Paige taught math at White River, Steilacoom, West Valley - Spokane, and Lake Washington high schools. She received her BEd from PLU in 2003 and her MEd from EWU in 2010 (both in math). Paige is married with two children.
